As a result of shelling in the Kherson region, people were killed

As a result of shelling by Russian troops in the Kherson region over the last 24 hours, at least seven people have been killed, while nine others have been injured, among them three human rights defenders. This was reported by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.

The shelling occurred in several populated areas, including the villages of Chornobayivka and Komyshany. In Chornobayivka, a 61-year-old woman was killed as a result of being hit by shrapnel in her house, while five other individuals were injured. In Komyshany, a 65-year-old man was killed, and a 64-year-old woman was hospitalized with serious injuries.

During the evacuation of the body of the deceased, a Russian drone attacked the police vehicle, as a result of which three human rights defenders were injured.

Additionally, in the village of Molodizhne, a 16-year-old teenager sustained injuries as a result of artillery shelling, more than 20 buildings were damaged.

The head of the Kherson regional administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, confirmed that as a result of the aggression, four individuals were killed, six were injured, and also noted that 109 private buildings and other infrastructure were damaged.
