Yuriy Koval, the former head coach of the Zorya football club, has been appointed as the new director of the academy of FC Oleksandriya. This was announced by the club's press service on September 13, 2025.

Koval has significant experience in sports, having worked at Zorya for over 20 years. He also played for Oleksandriya, where he was active in the 1990s, and from 2023 to 2024, he held the position of head coach. Throughout his career, Koval has also served as a sports director in various teams.

Oleksandriya hopes that Koval's experience will contribute to the development of youth football and improve the results of the team.
