Quarterback Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes shared details about the birth of his daughter Goldie Rae in a new clip from the documentary series "The Kingdom" aired by ESPN.

Mahomes noted that the arrival of their youngest daughter in January of this year was the perfect moment. "Brittany handled everything. I was focusing on playoff games throughout the day. She started giving birth after one of the games," he recalled.

Goldie is the third child for the couple after daughter Sterling, who is 4 years old, and 2-year-old son Patrick "Bronze" Mahomes III.

The documentary series "The Kingdom" explores the history of the team and the current dynasty that has gained popularity over the past few years. It also showcases the personal lives of the players, including moments with the Mahomes family.

The series will feature an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the team during the 2024 season, when the team is vying for a third consecutive title in Super Bowl LIX.
