The head coach of Panathinaikos, Rui Vitória, commented on the squad situation of the team before the match of the third qualifying round of the European League against Shakhtar. He noted that today in the evening he will not be able to field all the best players in the squad.

The coach stated that the team has a few absent players, but this does not mean that the team is not ready to play. "All coaches want to have a full squad in every game. But we are not here to lament about absentees. If someone cannot play, it’s an opportunity for another," said Vitória.
