Trent Rockets Women achieved their first victory in The Hundred, completely dominating London Spirit, who up until this point had been without a win.
England's Nat Sciver-Brunt contributed to the team's total of 149 runs from six wickets, while the superstars were dismissed for 116 runs, which ensured victory by a margin of 33 runs.
Wicketkeepers Briony Smith and Natasha Wraith set the tempo, scoring 62 runs at the start, where Smith made 42 runs from 23 balls.
Despite the fact that both were dismissed Eve Jones, Sciver-Brunt remained at the crease, finishing her innings with 51 runs from 29 balls.
London Spirit could not find their rhythm in their game, and only Kira Chatfield, Kordelia Griffith, and Charlie Nott achieved double-digit scores. Kirstie Gordon had a stellar match, taking four wickets for 15 runs from 20 balls.
This victory was significant for the Rockets, who ended their series of defeats, leaving only Welsh Fire without a win in the women's tournament.
