Scott, 73, underwent surgery for coronary artery disease, known as "heart bypass surgery," which, according to Taylor, was "very intensive." She mentioned that after the surgery he felt good and showed a sense of humor, even trying to lighten the mood for the medical staff, even after waking up from anesthesia.

Taylor also shared that the family spent the summer together, including their father in his hospital room after the surgery. This, according to her co-host, became a special time for the whole family. She emphasized that the relatives supported him in the recovery, creating a warm atmosphere.
