About this reports Sky Sports, ESPN.
Nottingham Forest agreed on a total sum of 67.5 million pounds sterling for the signing of Omari Hutchinson from Ipswich and James McAtee from Manchester City.
The agreement with 22-year-old McAtee includes terms for a buy-back clause and a future sale. The player, who became captain of the England U21 team and played in the 2025 European Championship, has featured in 27 matches for City last season, of which only three were in the Premier League.
Regarding 21-year-old Hutchinson, the club received an offer of 35 million pounds, but instead agreed on a new deal worth 37.5 million pounds. The player moved to Ipswich from Chelsea for 20 million pounds last summer and hopes to help the club get promoted to the Premier League.
Forest is also holding negotiations with Rennes regarding striker Arno Kalimuendo and is considering the possibility of signing Duglas Luiz from Juventus. The club is also continuing discussions regarding a contract with Khalum Gadsden-Odome.
Nottingham Forest plans to finalize the team before the start of the new season, including before the match against Brentford.
