HEIGAN, Minnesota – Joint training between New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings has become an important stage for young quarterbacks of both teams. Dreik May, selected under the third number of last year's draft, and J. J. McCarthy, who missed last season due to injury, demonstrated progress throughout this week.

May, who was previously recognized as the best quarterback in the West, showed a good level of play, but his team faced difficulties due to the strong pass-rush of the Vikings. The offensive line of the Patriots was unable to ensure sufficient protection, which led to frequent sacks on May.
