According to authorities, the woman suffered fatal injuries as a result of the artillery shelling. It was also reported that as a result of an attack by Russian military aircraft, a 78-year-old woman was injured in the Dniprovske district.

The head of the Kherson city military administration, Yaroslav Shanko, confirmed the death of the woman in a message on Telegram.
