Casualties of Russia in Ukraine Over the Past Day Amount to 940 Individuals

As of August 15, 2025, Russia has lost approximately 1,068,040 troops in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war on February 24, 2022. In the last day, 940 Russian soldiers were either killed or wounded.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the confirmed losses in equipment include: one aircraft, two tanks, and 40 artillery systems.

Since the start of the war, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 11,106 (+2) Russian tanks, 23,133 (+3) armored combat vehicles, 31,498 (+40) artillery systems, 1,467 (+1) reactive systems of various types, 1,207 anti-aircraft systems, 422 (+1) aircraft, 340 helicopters, 51,190 (+147) unmanned aerial vehicles, 28 ships and cutters, 1 submarine, 58,596 (+140) vehicles and fuel trucks, as well as 3,940 (+3) units of special equipment.
