Nashville, Tennessee. Elmo, the famous character from "Streets of Sezam", recently debuted on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry, celebrating the 100th anniversary of this legendary venue. He, along with his partner Ebi Kadebbi, performed at a concert where Elmo sang in a small black capella group, while Ebi performed with Taylor Lynn, the daughter of the famous country singer Loretta Lynn.
Elmo and Ebi shared the stage as part of the "Streets of Sezam" tour across America, during which the performers participated in various events, including professional baseball games and fairs. Notable country singers, such as Garth Brooks and Chris Stapleton, have been invited to the "Streets of Sezam" over the last few years, and Elmo and Ebi expressed their desire to sing with Dolly Parton.
Elmo, who officially became Elmo in 1980, and Ebi, a four-year-old character who debuted in 2006, also shared ideas for new songs. Elmo is eager to write a song about his home rock, while Ebi suggested a more complex idea about a fire that plays on the guitar.
