Russian troops launched a missile strike on a village in the community of Koryivka in the Chernihiv region in the evening of August 14. This was reported by Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv regional state administration.

During the attack, the agricultural enterprise was affected, and several residential buildings were also damaged. A commission is working on-site to assess the damage and fix the losses.

Chaus noted that recovery efforts have already begun, and local organizations are providing assistance to residents in restoring their homes.

In the past day, Russian forces shelled 13 populated areas in five communities of the region. In the community of Semenivka, civil buildings were also damaged.

It is noted that on August 15, the Ukrainian air defense reported the use of 2 ballistic missiles Iskander-M and 97 Shahed-type drones, of which 34 reached their targets.
