A New Reconnaissance Drone with Artificial Intelligence Discovered

• A new version of the V2U reconnaissance drone has been discovered.

A new version of the Russian V2U drone, equipped with artificial intelligence, has appeared on the front line. This reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle differs from the attack version by the absence of stabilizers in the center.

According to the words of military radio technician Sergey "Flesha" Beskresnov, the drone has been spotted on all fronts this week. After completing the reconnaissance mission, it is deployed using a parachute.

"During the training exercises, various names of this type of drone were identified in the V2U program. There is an attack drone, as well as a reconnaissance one. Only the courier drone for logistics remains," wrote Flesha.

The specialist noted that the developer and manufacturer of this drone are unknown. It is important that the UAV does not contain any Russian components.

"For me, the most important issue is the interaction between reconnaissance and attack drones. I consider this line of drones with artificial intelligence to be the most innovative and indispensable," he emphasized.

It is worth noting that at the beginning of June, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published data on the construction, electronic base, and the general supply of the Russian attack drone V2U. A distinctive feature of the drone is its ability to autonomously search for and select targets using artificial intelligence.
