On August 15, 2025, in England, the 80th anniversary of VJ Day was celebrated, symbolizing the victory of the Allies over Japan and the end of World War II. At the memorial event, which took place at the National Memorial Arboretum, participants included Coral Charles, Coral Kamilla, Prime Minister Kir Starmer, and veterans.

During the ceremony, 105-year-old veteran Yavar Abbas made an emotional contribution, starting the coral with a song. He expressed his support, noting that his experience would bring strength to the coral. This event gathered nearly 1500 guests.

Coral Charles, in his speech, emphasized the "true cost of war," stating that it affects every aspect of life. He also expressed hope that no nation would ever experience similar suffering again, such as after the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
