Ukrainian Armed Forces Cleared Pokrovsk of the Enemy

The Ukrainian Armed Forces, including the 7th Airborne Assault Corps, have completed the operation to clear the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region from Russian reconnaissance-diversion groups and certain military units.

According to information from the press service of the 7th Airborne Assault Corps, Ukrainian troops are currently operating in the city, and local residents may continue to evacuate.

Although movement within the city itself is significantly restricted, access to Pokrovsk remains open. This information is also confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Background: Russian reconnaissance-diversion groups first penetrated into Pokrovsk on July 15, after which resistance lasted more than six months. The 68th separate hunting brigade was present in Pokrovsk during the arrival of the diversions and continues to carry out tasks in this area.
