Oleksandriya signed Shakhtar defender Anton Drozd

The football club Oleksandriya has concluded an agreement with Donetsk Shakhtar regarding the loan of defender Anton Drozd. The contract with Oleksandriya is valid until June 30, 2026, and includes an option to buy.

Anton Drozd was born on September 6, 2005, in the village of Skibivka, Poltava region. He is a graduate of the FC "Poltava" academy. Since 2019, he has played for the academy of Donetsk Shakhtar, where he became the champion of Ukraine among U14. In 2024, he was part of the Ukrainian U19 national team, which participated in the European youth championship.

Drozd already has experience playing for the youth teams of Ukraine U19 and U20. This is not the first transfer for Oleksandriya from Shakhtar: earlier, the club loaned another young defender - Mykola Ogharkov.
