On August 15, 2025, Russian forces carried out a missile strike on the Dnipro district, which resulted in a fire. According to preliminary data, one person was killed, and another was injured. This was reported by Sergey Lisak, head of the Dnipro regional military administration.
Additionally, on the same day, Russian troops attacked the central market in the city of Sumy. Oleg Grigoriev, head of the Sumy regional military administration, confirmed that the attack targeted civilian infrastructure. According to information received from local sources, the fire also occurred after this strike, but no information about casualties was reported.
According to the data, the strike on Dnipro led to a suspension of public transport and microbuses. A warning about the missile strike was sent around 4:00 PM, after which residents were advised to seek shelter.
