On August 15, 2025, a match took place in the city of Lviv between the teams Rukh and Obolon, which opened the program of the third round of the UPL. The encounter ended with a score of 1:2 in favor of the guests from Kyiv.

Obolon opened the scoring in the 27th minute thanks to a goal from Ustyimenko, after which Rukh failed to convert their chances to equalize. In the 62nd minute, Rukh received a penalty, which was converted by Lyakh, but Obolon again took the lead in the 74th minute with a goal from Sukhanov.

The match unfolded in a tense struggle, where both teams attempted to create moments near the opponent's goal. After Rukh's missed goal, they improved their game, but could not equalize the score.

Thus, Obolon climbed to the leading position in the tournament table of the UPL, gaining three important points.
