Developing a New Air Defense System for Ukraine

A new air defense system is being developed in Ukraine, designed to protect airspace and large territories. The project is being implemented by the MaXon team, which is a participant in the Brave1 defense technology cluster.

Details: Fedorov did not disclose the technical characteristics of the new development, but noted that it will have its own detection system and high-speed interceptors. He added that with the support of Brave1, the MaXon team successfully completed the first round of investment, including attracting funding from Freedom Fund and Defender Ventures. Currently, fundraising is ongoing for the next round to accelerate research and scale the new system.
According to Fedorov, MaXon's technologies will integrate solutions from other participants of Brave1.
Context: Earlier, the Wild Hornets team modernized its drone-interceptor Sting, which allowed it to reach speeds of 315 km/h.
