Insta360 Launches Antigravity A1 Drone with 360-Degree Shooting

  • Antigravity A1 captures 360-degree video in 8K
  • The drone weighs 249 grams and does not require registration
  • Launch is scheduled for January 2026

According to Mezha and ZDNet.

The company Insta360 has introduced a new drone under the Antigravity brand, named Antigravity A1. This drone is equipped with a built-in camera that can shoot video in 8K with a 360-degree view.

Antigravity A1 weighs 249 grams, allowing it to not require registration in most countries. The drone comes with goggles for piloting and a controller, enabling first-person control. This allows pilots to see everything that happens around the drone and capture video in 360 degrees. The official release to the global market is scheduled for January 2026.

This new product will enter a market already saturated with competitors, including DJI, which last month released its new Osmo 360 camera. According to SCMP data, Insta360 controls 67% of the market for 360-degree shooting cameras, while DJI holds nearly 70% of the consumer drone market.

The development of Antigravity A1 also responds to the strategy of the Chinese government regarding the development of the economy of small heights, which includes both piloted and unmanned aerial vehicles at heights up to 1000 meters.
