Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta believes that the competition in the Premier League this season will be extremely tough. He has prepared the team to fight for the title, hoping to break a 22-year dry spell without a championship.

Arsenal has been active in the transfer market, signing six new contracts for a total sum of 200 million pounds sterling. Among the newcomers is Swedish forward Victor Gyökeres, who transferred from Sporting for 63.5 million pounds sterling. Gyökeres was chosen to wear the legendary number 14 shirt, previously worn by Thierry Henry.

Arteta noted that the team needs a player with charisma and the ability to influence the game, and Gyökeres meets these requirements. Additionally, Arsenal signed Noni Madueke, who will become a valuable addition to the attack, as well as Martin Zubimendi to strengthen the midfield.

Arteta emphasized that this season the team needs to demonstrate exceptional play to compete with other clubs that have also actively strengthened their squads. All the teams that Arsenal will compete against, such as Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea, have invested significant sums in new players.
