Playboy relocates to Miami and opens a new club

Playboy plans to move its global headquarters from Los Angeles to Miami Beach. In the new office, located on the top floor of the luxurious building The RIVANI, studios will be created to support the growing network of content creators. The company will also open a club with a restaurant and separate areas for members, inspired by the iconic Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles.

General Director of Playboy Inc. Ben Kohn noted that Miami Beach is a dynamic and culturally influential place, making it an ideal location for the next phase of Playboy's development. Kohn also emphasized that the move is connected to the desire to avoid "anti-business" regulations in California, which hinder business operations.

The new Playboy headquarters will help develop a content team focused on podcasts, photography, and other digital content. Playboy plans to complete the relocation to Miami by the end of next year.

The company was founded in 1953 by Hugh Hefner, and its first issue featured the famous photo of Marilyn Monroe. As Playboy has struggled with declining readership due to the rise of free content on the internet, the brand has adapted, shifting its focus to lifestyle, licensing, and digital media.
