Three teenagers returned from the occupied territories of Ukraine

  • Three teenagers were rescued from the occupied territories of Ukraine.
  • The children are receiving assistance to restore normal life.
  • They survived the horrors and pressure through their pro-Ukrainian position.

This was reported by Interfax Ukraine, Ukrinform.

As part of the initiative of the President of Ukraine "Return of Children Home," three teenagers were rescued from temporarily occupied territories, as reported by Andrii Yermak, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

According to him, the children lived in fear and insecurity for almost three years. "The occupiers exposed the children and their families to their pro-Ukrainian position, forced them to study Russian programs, banned the Ukrainian language and symbols, and also called them to ask questions," Yermak noted.

He emphasized that some teenagers managed to leave home to avoid persecution, while others tried to escape independently, but ended up facing checkpoints. "Always in touch with the Office of the Ombudsman and the team of 'Assistance for Departure,' all three managed to come to Ukraine, accompanied by their relatives," he added.

"They receive psychological, humanitarian, and legal assistance, restore their documents, and prepare to return to school and normal life. We are fulfilling the President's task — to return all children," Yermak said.
