MacIntyre Leads BMW Championship Ahead of Scheffler and McIlroy

At the BMW Championship, held in Maryland, Scottish golfer Robert MacIntyre showcased an impressive result, finishing first after the second round with a score of -14. In the second round, he played without a bogey, making six birdies and concluding the round with a score of 64 strokes.
The closest pursuer to MacIntyre, world number one Scottie Scheffler, is in ninth place with a score of -9. He also showed a strong result in the second round, scoring 65 strokes, with five birdies.
Swede Ludvig Åberg occupies third place (-8), while Japanese golfer Hideki Matsuyama is fourth (-7). Both also recorded a score of 64 strokes in the second round. English golfer Tommy Fleetwood has a score of -6, but his card was marred by three bogeys in the last five holes.
Rory McIlroy, world number two, competed in a pairing with Scheffler. His result in the first round was 70, but in the second round, he improved to 66, with one eagle and four birdies, moving up to 11th place with a score of -4.
The BMW Championship is the second stage of the FedEx Cup playoffs, which includes the 50 best players from the PGA Tour this season. The next stage will take place next week.
