Today, the summit of U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin took place in Anchorage, Alaska. The leaders held discussions for nearly three years, but did not reach any agreement regarding the end of the war in Ukraine.
Trump characterized the meeting as "very productive," but the results remained unspecified. Both presidents did not announce a peace agreement or a temporary ceasefire. Trump noted that "there were many points on which we agreed," but did not specify what exactly was being discussed.
