The President of the USA, Donald Trump, rated his meeting with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, 10 out of 10. He stated that he currently does not plan to impose additional sanctions against Russia.

The meeting took place on August 15 in Anchorage, Alaska, and lasted nearly three hours. Trump emphasized that the conversation "went very well" and it is important that two major nuclear powers can find common ground.

After the meeting, Trump noted that due to the results of the negotiations, he does not see the need to discuss possible increases in tariffs on Chinese goods at this time. However, he did not rule out the possibility of returning to this issue in two or three weeks.

It is recalled that earlier Trump announced his intention to impose 100% retaliatory tariffs on Russia if it does not agree to a peace agreement with Ukraine within 50 days. The deadline was later shortened to 10 days.
