Signing of Hatzhiytsyn in Nottingham Forest for £37.5 million

  • Nottingham has signed Hatzhiytsyn on a five-year contract.
  • It is expected that the club will make several more signings this summer.
  • Hatzhiytsyn is expected to help Ipswich rise to the Premier League.

Nottingham Forest has completed the signing of winger Omari Hatzhiytsyn from Ipswich for £37.5 million.

The 21-year-old winger has signed a contract for five years. Hatzhiytsyn expressed his excitement about this new stage of his career, stating that he is keen to support the fans.

This transfer comes after criticism from manager Nuno Espirito Santo regarding the club's activity in the transfer market. Nottingham also intends to finalize a deal with James McAtee from Manchester City for approximately £30 million.

The club is also in talks regarding the signing of striker Arno Kalimedu from Rennes ahead of the start of the Premier League season. The total sum of three deals could reach £90 million.

Hatzhiytsyn, who previously helped Ipswich reach the Premier League, scored three goals in 31 matches last season but was unable to keep the team from returning to the Championship.
