The Leeds Rhinos team continued their path to the Super League playoffs, securing third place in the tournament table after overcoming Castleford Tigers with a score of 64-6 at the OneBore stadium.
Leeds dominated the game, scoring 11 tries. Jake Connor started strong with 22 points, including a try and nine conversions. Brodie Croft, Ryan Hall, and Ash Handley also scored two tries each, confirming their superiority.
Castleford, on the other hand, showed weak performance, and the only try they managed to score was by Jensen Winder, who could not change the outcome. This defeat highlighted the difficulties for a team that aims to hold an important meeting after such a setback.
The victory was a wonderful gift for head coach Brian Arthur, who recently signed a new contract until the end of the 2026 season. This result allows Leeds to remain just two points behind the second place in the table.
Leeds now has a comfortable advantage over the seventh-place Wakefield Trinity, which greatly increases their chances of making it to the top-six playoffs.
