At the Danish Golf Championship, Rasmus Hojgaard showcased his lead, having built a solid advantage over Englishman Marco Penge after the third round.

Hojgaard, who had a two-stroke lead before the start of the third day of competition, lost the lead on the second hole, allowing Penge to earn a spot in fifth and sixth.

However, Hojgaard managed to bounce back, earning a spot in eighth, and continued to maintain his lead until the very end of the round. He also reliably made a couple on the last hole, finishing the day with a score of 70 strokes and an overall total of -13.

Englishman Ben Schmidtz, finishing with eight strokes, also rose to third place with a score of -9.

Hojgaard noted that the wind was quite mild, and he was able to maintain his composure to keep the lead. He expressed hope for a successful final round, as this competition is considered the fifth major in golf.

At the same time, French golfer Adrien Saddier, who was in the top 5, ended his round with a score of 74 strokes and dropped to 22nd place with -3.

The upcoming round promises to be tense, as Hojgaard and Penge continue their battle for the title at the domestic tournament.
