In Owings Mills, Maryland, Robert McIntyre continues to hold the lead at the BMW Championship, having a four-shot advantage over Scottie Scheffler. In the third round, McIntyre made a 40-foot putt on the 18th hole, finishing the day with a score of 68 strokes.
At the start from the bogey near the first hole, McIntyre responded, making birdies on the fourth and ninth holes. He also successfully dealt with the pressure from Scheffler, who scored a birdie, making two birdies, but did not manage to get closer to the leader.
Ludvig Åberg, the Swedish golfer, occupies third place with a score of -10, while Harry Hall and Sam Burns share fourth place, sitting at -3. Other players, such as Ricky Fowler, are also striving to qualify for the top 30 to participate in the final Tour Championship.
It is important that in the BMW Championship, the top 30 players will have the opportunity to compete for a prize fund totaling $40 million. Additionally, players who do not make it to the 30 can face serious consequences for their careers in upcoming competitions.
