Cosess Itauma, a 20-year-old British boxer, delivered an impressive performance, defeating Dillian Whyte by knockout in the first round at the Kingdom arena in Riyadh on September 17, 2025. This was his 11th knockout victory out of 13 fights, showcasing his potential to become a new star in the heavyweight division.

After the fight with Whyte, Itauma stated that he does not consider himself ready to fight Oleksandr Usyk, the heavyweight champion, as his successes deserve attention. Usyk previously expressed admiration for Itauma's talent, calling him a "great fighter" with "great potential."
