Israel plans to relocate Palestinians to southern Gaza
- Israel is beginning a plan for the imminent relocation of Palestinians to southern Gaza.
- According to recent data, the number of Palestinians killed has exceeded 61 thousand.
- Seven Israeli officials are calling for protests over the war and demands for their release.
The Israeli army announced plans for the imminent relocation of Palestinians from Gaza to the southern part of the territory before the start of a new military operation. According to information published on September 16, 2025, the plan anticipates that Gaza residents will be moved to so-called "safe zones."
These statements were made on the backdrop of reports about significant civilian casualties, including the deaths of at least 40 individuals, among whom were women. Attacks by Israel on Gaza continue, despite the announcements about safe zones.
Starting from September 17, the supply of tents and other equipment for shelter, which will be delivered through the Kerem Shalom crossing under the control of the UN and international organizations, will begin. The Israeli military authorities noted that the relocation of the population does not yet have a clear start date.
As of today, as a result of Israeli attacks, according to the data from the Gaza Health Ministry, more than 61 thousand Palestinians have been killed. Thousands of people remain without access to food and water, while humanitarian conditions continue to deteriorate.
Seven Israeli officials, who remain in Gaza, called for protests, demanding the end of the war and the release of all detainees. The situation in the region remains tense, and international organizations express concern regarding further actions by Israel.
