Russian troops attack Dnipropetrovsk region, fires reported
- Attacks by Russian troops on Nikopol and Synelnykivsk districts.
- Significant damage to civilian infrastructure and vehicles.
- Fires resulted from shelling without casualties.

Russian forces carried out strikes on Nikopol and Synelnykivsk districts of Dnipropetrovsk region overnight from September 16 to 17.
The attacks were confirmed by Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration, who reported the shelling on Telegram.
In Nikopol district, the aggressor used drones and reactive systems of the Grad type. Under the shelling, the city of Nikopol was hit, as well as the communities of Marganets, Pokrovsk, and Myrove. As a result of the attack, fires broke out, damaging several vehicles, one of which was completely destroyed.
In Synelnykivsk district, Russian troops targeted the communities of Mezheve and Pokrovsk, using guided missiles. Several fires broke out, damaging two private houses, a garage, and dry grass. The infrastructure also suffered damage.
According to the updated information, as a result of the shelling, two private houses were destroyed, and three others were damaged in Nikopol.
Currently, casualties and injuries have not been reported.
Earlier, it was reported that in Dnipropetrovsk region, fires occurred in rural areas following an attack by the aggressor's missiles.
