Russia Attacks Ukraine with Drones and Missiles

On the night of September 17, Russia carried out a massive attack on Ukraine, using 60 drones and one ballistic missile of the Iskander-M type. According to the data from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the attack occurred from five directions: Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Shatalovo.
As a result of the defense, Ukrainian forces destroyed 40 drones that were launched. However, according to preliminary data, the missile and 20 drones hit 12 objects in the frontline areas, including in Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Dnipro regions.
Earlier, information was received about the possible expansion of Russia's attacks, including plans to launch up to 2000 drones at once. According to British intelligence, in July, Russia set a new record for the number of drone attacks on Ukraine, launching 6200 drones in a month.
