Prince William and Kate are moving to a new home in Windsor
- William and Kate are moving to Forest Lodge in Windsor.

- The family plans to keep their current residence and start a new chapter.
Prince William and Princess Kate plan to move to a new home in Windsor later this year. They are choosing the eight-bedroom Forest Lodge, located in Windsor Great Park, along with their children George, Charlotte, and Louis. According to a spokesperson for Kensington Palace, the family will keep their current residence at Adelaide Cottage, which is located nearby.
The move comes after difficult times for the family, including Kate's treatment for cancer and the death of the Queen Elizabeth II. Gerald from the royal family notes that the new home will provide an opportunity for a "fresh start" and a new chapter in their lives.
The renovations at the new residence have already received approval for unspecified internal and external work. Previously, Forest Lodge underwent a restoration costing 1.5 million pounds sterling in 2001.
Prince William described last year as "the most challenging" in his life due to the diagnosis of cancer in his friend and father, the King Charles III. Kate announced her engagement earlier this year after the completion of chemotherapy.
