James McAtee leaves Manchester City and signs a contract with Nottingham

James McAtee, a 22-year-old English midfielder, is moving from Manchester City to Nottingham Forest. The agreement has been confirmed by Nottingham on their official website. McAtee signed a contract until the summer of 2030.

The total transfer fee is approximately 35 million euros, including bonuses for achievements. The contract also includes a buy-back option, allowing Manchester City to bring the player back in the future.

McAtee began his career at Manchester City, where he spent 11 years. He gained experience playing on loan at Sheffield United, and last season played in the first team, becoming an important player for Pep Guardiola.

Nottingham Forest, after a successful season in which the team finished 7th in the Premier League, is actively working in the transfer market, besides McAtee, the club has signed Omar Richards and is awaiting the arrival of Arno Kalimuendo.
