After the confirmation of the buyout, the club Morecambe resumes its activities

  • The Morecambe club resumes its activities after the confirmation of the buyout.
  • The transfer embargo will remain in effect until all debts are paid off.
  • The first match of the season will take place on September 23 against Altrincham.

The Morecambe club has received permission from the National League to resume its activities following the confirmation of the buyout of the consortium Panjab Warriors.

Previously, the team was forced to suspend its first three matches due to a suspension in the league. The National League announced the lifting of the sanctions after receiving documents regarding the sale in the past week.

However, the transfer embargo will remain in effect until those debts are settled, including payments to players, staff, and HM Revenue & Customs.

It has been noted that the first match for Morecambe in the new season will take place on September 23 against Altrincham.

It is reminded that an agreement for the sale was reached on Thursday between Panjab Warriors and Bond Group, who owned the club.

Bond Group expressed gratitude to all club employees for their patience in this situation.
