Swiatek Defeated Rybakina and Reached the Final in Cincinnati

Iga Swiatek, the third-ranked player in the world, defeated the reigning champion Elena Rybakina with a score of 7-5 6-3, advancing to the final of the Cincinnati Open for the first time.
Rybakina, who is the Wimbledon champion, started the match actively, but Swiatek quickly regained control after an early break in the first set.
“It was a tough match,” noted the Polish tennis player. “At the beginning, it was quite challenging, we played so fast that I sometimes couldn't get to the second ball.”
Swiatek emphasized that it will be difficult to prepare for the final, but she will focus on herself and continue her work.
In the final, which will take place on Monday, Swiatek will face the winner of the match between Italian Jasmine Paolini and Russian Veronika Kudermetova.
