Glasner confirms that Eze and Guehi remain at Palace

  • Glasner stated that rumors about the transfers of Eze and Guehi are unfounded.
  • Eze and Guehi started in the match against Chelsea, which ended in a draw.
  • Tottenheim is leading negotiations regarding Eze, but no official proposals have been made.

About this reports ESPN, Sky Sports.

Manager Crystal Palace Oliver Glasner confirmed that players Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi will remain at the club, regardless of any rumors about their possible transfers. Glasner urged reporters not to believe everything that is written on the Internet.

At the beginning of the season, during the match against Chelsea, Eze was in the starting lineup, although there were earlier doubts about his participation in the match. His goal was disallowed due to a rule infringement related to VAR, in a match that ended in a draw 0-0.

Glasner noted that Eze's contract with the club is valid, and he will continue to play as long as he remains with the team. "Eberechi Eze, as far as I know, is a player for Crystal Palace," said Glasner. He also confirmed that reports about the termination of the clause to buy Eze are false.

Tottenheim is leading negotiations regarding a possible transfer of Eze, but no official proposals have been received yet. The club values Eze at £70 million sterling, considering that two years remain until the end of his contract.

Glasner advised journalists not to believe the rumors and emphasized that the team demonstrates good cohesion during training. "I observe the players every day, and if there were more information being written about them, it would be true, they would not be able to perform as they do," he noted.

The next match for Palace will take place on September 24 against Nottingham Forest in the framework of the Championship.
