Rahm Defends LIV Golf Title in Season

  • Rahm became the LIV Golf champion for the second consecutive time.
  • Munoz won the playoff, finishing the round with 22 strokes under par.
  • The Nieman team won the team title at the tournament.

LIV Golf Indianapolis - Final Round

Jon Rahm became the LIV Golf champion individually for the second consecutive time, even though he played in the playoff against Sebastian Munoz in Indiana. Rahm finished the round with 11 strokes under par, bringing his total to -22, compared to Munoz's score of 59 in the first round.

Munoz earned the runner-up, making a putt on the first playoff hole, while Rahm only managed to make par. However, this result was enough for Rahm to surpass Joaquin Niemann, who finished in fourth place with -17, and received the main prize of $18 million.

Rahm demonstrated consistency throughout the season, despite not winning any tournament. He placed in the top 10 in all but one of his 13 tournament appearances, which maintains his status as one of the best players. In the standings, he ranked first, having six top finishes in the first ten events and finishing 13th.

Meanwhile, the Niemann team, Torque, won the team title, while Rahm's team, Legion XIII, secured first place for the upcoming LIV Team Championship in Michigan.
