Kaulig Racing Supports Ram's Return to NASCAR Truck Series
- Kaulig Racing will field five Ram trucks in the Truck Series in 2026.
- This is the first step towards Ram's return to NASCAR since 2012.
- The team will continue to compete at other NASCAR levels with Chevrolet vehicles.
Kaulig Racing will become the primary partner of the Ram brand when it returns to the NASCAR Truck Series in 2026. Team owner Matt Kaulig announced this during a press conference at the Ram showroom in Daytona Beach, Florida, on August 23, 2025.
Kaulig Racing plans to field five trucks in the Truck Series, which is a significant step for a team that has not previously participated in this championship. Ram last competed in the Truck Series in 2012. "This partnership signifies more than just a new division in the history of Kaulig Racing. It is a union of shared values," Kaulig stated.
Ram also believes that Kaulig Racing is an ideal fit for representing the brand in NASCAR. Ram's General Director, Tim Kuniskis, emphasized that the team embodies their values and approach to racing. Kaulig Racing will continue to field Chevrolet vehicles in the Xfinity and Cup Series, but now they will add Ram in the Truck Series.
This initiative is the first step towards Ram's return to a higher level of NASCAR, with the intention of eventually representing Dodge vehicles in the Cup Series. "We aim to return to the Cup, but first, we need to establish that we can successfully compete in the Truck Series," said Nate Buolow, Senior Vice President of Ram. Thus, the team plans to familiarize itself with the current NASCAR technologies to prepare for future competitions at the top level.
