Shakhtar Signs Brazilian Forward for 12 Million Euros

The Donetsk football club Shakhtar is planning to finalize a contract with Brazilian forward Lucas Mayrelles, who plays for the club Santoc. According to information from the Brazilian portal Globo, Shakhtar proposed Santoc 12 million euros for the transfer of the player, as well as a bonus of 15% of the future sale amount of the footballer.

Lucas Mayrelles, the 18-year-old forward, scored 13 goals last season and provided one assist, playing 28 matches for various teams of the club. His contract with Santoc is valid until September 31, 2027.

Santoc is currently ready to discuss Shakhtar's proposal due to financial difficulties in the club. According to the portal Transfermarkt, Mayrelles' market value is approximately 1.5 million euros. Shakhtar currently occupies second place in the UPL, having six points after three matches.
