Ethical Diamond has become the winner of the prestigious Ebor Handicap, held in York. Under the guidance of William Buick, who was the favorite with odds of 5-1, the horse easily finished first in the race for a total of £500,000, which is one of the largest prizes in the Flat class in Europe.

This win marks the first for Buick in Ebor and the third for trainer Willie Mullins. Mullins noted that the horse showed remarkable speed at the finish, utilizing its potential to the fullest.

The second finished horse was Ascending, trained by Henry de Bromhead, and the third was Queenstown under the guidance of Aidan O'Brien. Fourth place was taken by Stressfree, trained by David O'Meara.

Before this victory, Ethical Diamond also won at Royal Ascot in the Duke of Edinburgh Stakes. Moreover, Mullins confirmed that the horse will not be able to participate in the Melbourne Cup due to medical restrictions.
