Ukrainian forces destroyed 36 out of 49 drones launched by Russia

On the night of August 22-23, Russian troops carried out an attack on Ukraine, launching 49 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types. It is reported that Ukrainian forces, using air defense systems, destroyed 36 of them.

Details of the attack: The drones were launched from four directions: Shatalove, Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. The attack was repelled by units of electronic warfare and mobile fire groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the data of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 13 drones hit seven objects in Donetsk, Dnipro, and Sumy regions. In particular, in the city of Konotop, located in Sumy region, three strikes were recorded, but no casualties were reported.

Photo evidence: The attack began at 22:40 on August 22, when an air alert was declared throughout Ukraine. The mayor of Konotop confirmed that as a result of the strike, an infrastructure facility was damaged, which was destroyed.
