The 23-year-old athlete, who reached the semifinals of the US Open last year, will start his first match against Argentine qualifier Federico Agustin Gomez. Draper noted that, despite the discomfort, he does not feel that it hinders his ability to play.

“It’s an injury that requires time for recovery,” said Draper. He also emphasized that he does not plan to limit his capabilities during the game.
