In the first round of Serie A for the 2025/26 season, AC Milan unexpectedly lost to newcomer US Cremonese with a score of 1-2 at the San Siro stadium. This defeat marked the debut of Luca Modric in the squad of the Milanese and the return of Massimiliano Allegri to the coaching position of the team.

Stunning victory for Cremonese

The match started actively, and already in the 28th minute, Federico Baschirotto opened the scoring, having scored after a cross from Giancarlo Zerbin. Santiago Gimenez had the opportunity to equalize, but his goal was ruled offside. Strahinja Pavlovic equalized in the 45th minute, but Federico Bonazzoli scored the winning goal in the 61st minute with a wonderful strike through himself.

Romans secured a minimal victory
