The enemy attacks Sumy, explosions heard in the city

On the night of Sunday, September 24, the city of Sumy became the target of an attack by enemy drones. According to the information from the Armed Forces, at around 02:00 Kyiv time, enemy strike drones were detected over the territory of Sumy region. At 02:46, explosions were heard in the city, and 15 minutes later, additional explosions were recorded.

The head of the Sumy regional military administration, Oleg Grigorov, confirmed that Sumy is under attack by enemy drones. The military continues to operate, and the consequences of the attack are currently being clarified. Local residents are advised to stay in safe places.

It is also reported that earlier the Armed Forces had warned about the movement of Russian "Shaheds" in the direction of Sumy.

In addition, as a result of shelling in Kherson, a 69-year-old local resident was killed.
