The Russian army suffered losses of 910 soldiers and equipment

• The Russian army lost 910 soldiers in the last day.
• The total losses of Russian troops exceed 1 million personnel.
• In combat operations, over 31 thousand artillery systems were destroyed.

As of August 24, 2025, the total combat losses of Russian troops since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, which started on February 24, 2022, amount to approximately 1,076,070 soldiers, of which 910 were killed just in the last day.

According to the data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army also lost 40 artillery systems and other equipment. In total, during the entire period of combat operations, the following have been destroyed:

• Tanks – 11,129;
• Armored fighting vehicles – 23,167;
• Artillery systems – 31,898;
• Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) – 1,472;
• Anti-aircraft missile systems – 1,211;
• Aircraft – 422;
• Helicopters – 340;
• Drones of tactical level – 53,056;
• Cruise missiles – 3,598;
• Naval vessels/ships – 28;
• Submarines – 1;
• Automotive equipment and fuel tankers – 59,593;
• Special equipment – 3,944.

During the last day, Russian troops also engaged in 134 combat clashes at the front, including 40 attempts to breach the defensive lines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of 17 populated points.
