FRISCO, Texas (AP) — Son Hyun Min scored his first goal, helping Los Angeles FC secure a 1-1 draw with FC Dallas on Saturday evening.
Hyun Min scored without an assist in the sixth minute, opening the scoring in his third match in MLS, giving LAFC (11-6-8) the lead.
Dallas (7-11-9) equalized in the 13th minute when Logan Farren, receiving an assist from Patrick Delgado, scored his fifth goal of his career, which became his record. This season, Farren has scored four goals in 29 matches.
Michael Collodi made four saves for Dallas in his fifth start of his career. Collodi, 24, has missed four games, replacing injured starting goalkeeper Maarten Peisa.
Ugo Lloris saved one shot for LAFC, which leads in the historic series with a record of 7-4-3, despite having a record of 1-4-2 in Frisco.
The only away win for LAFC in this series was 3-2 on July 20, 2021. This season, the club has a record of 3-3-6 on the road.
LAFC has won only twice in their last 18 matches — both times losing 0-1 at home against Portland Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps.
