Kellogg Visits Kyiv During Independence Day Celebrations

On August 24, during the Independence Day celebrations of Ukraine, a special representative of the USA, Kitt Kellogg, arrived in Kyiv. He participated in the festive events at Sofiivska Square, where President Volodymyr Zelensky delivered a speech.

Also present at the celebrations were representatives from other countries, including the Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney, as well as ministers from Sweden, Denmark, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, and Canada. Among the guests was also the minister of veterans affairs from the United Kingdom.

Zelensky noted in his speech: "The Ukrainian people have gone through one of the most difficult paths in Europe, but they endured, did not fall apart, did not disappear, and did not lose their land." He emphasized that Ukrainians have proven that their dreams can be realized in their native land.

Kellogg's Visit

It was previously reported that Kellogg plans to visit Ukraine on August 24-25. Previously, he was in Ukraine in mid-July, where his visit lasted several days.

On August 18, Kellogg met with Zelensky during negotiations in Washington with Donald Trump and European leaders.
